Vi er i starten av 2017, snø er
nesten fraværende og temperaturen er varierende, de fleste har nok merket seg
den bitende vinden som er godt tilstede på hele Jåsund. Styret har inngått
avtale med en lokal aktør om brøyting, salting og strøing på de parkeringsplassene
og gangveiene Velforeningen er ansvarlig for. Ta kontakt med styret om det
trengs ekstra brøyting etc.
Nå mot våren jobber styret med
forberedelse til årets generalforsamling, som er planlagt avholdt i slutten av
april, mer info kommer. For å få en velfungerende Velforening er vi avhengig av
at beboerne engasjerer seg i bomiljøet sitt, det er derfor viktig at flest
mulig deltar på årets generalforsamling. Det er på generalforsamlingen du
som beboer har muligheten for å være med og påvirke og utforme ditt nærområde.
Ta kontakt med styret om du har lyst til å være med i styret, eller har gode
ideer for ditt nærmiljø.
Vi planlegger også en dugnad i
begynnelsen av mai og muligens en sammenkomst med grilling og hyggelig prat med
oss naboer i mellom.
Som dere sikkert har registrert har
vi ikke kommet helt i gang med hjemmesiden vår, dette kommer vi til å jobbe med
fremover og regner med at den er operativ om kort tid. Har du lyst til å bidra
med eller arbeide med hjemmesiden til Velforeningen? Ta kontakt med styret og
meld din interesse.
Årskontingent til Jåsund Vel for 2016 ble enstemmig
vedtatt på årsmøte.
Styret har brukt mye tid og resurser
på innkreving av kontingent, etter flere påminnelser er det fremdeles noen som
ikke har betalt. Vi regner med at dette skyldes innkjøringsproblemer og at
neste runde med innbetaling går mye bedre. Årskontingenten går til drift og
vedlikehold av fellesområdene våre, samt til fremtidig utskifting av
lekeapparater etc.
Miljøstasjonene som er plassert rundt om på Jåsund område
blir godt brukt. Har du spesialavfall eller større mengder restavfall eller
byggematerialer? Husk at du ikke kan sette denne type avfall vedsiden av
miljøstasjonen, se linken under, her er mye nyttig informasjon på hvordan du
kan håndtere avfallet på.
Byggeplaner
: Har du planer om utbygg/garasje
eller oppføring av annet på din eiendom? Anbefaler vi at du gjør deg kjent
med reguleringsplan og formingsveiledning for Jåsund område som Sola kommune
har utarbeidet. Ta kontakt med Sola kommune for veiledning og hjelp til skjema
for nabovarsel.
Busstraseen er i utgangpunktet et bra tiltak, men vi som
bor langs busstraseen ser problemer med høy fart, dårlig sikt og fotgjengerfelt
som er plassert noe vanskelig. Vi har sett på «facebook» at busstraseen opptar
mange og skaper diskusjon. Velforeningen kommer til å jobbe med dette fremover
og vil ta kontakt med Sola Kommune og andre instanser for å påvirke og det å
finne bedre løsninger på busstraseen. Mer info kommer.
Parkering: Unngå parkering på fortau eller
gang/sykkelveg, eller slik at det hindres ferdsel på disse. Husk at det skal
være sikker ferdsel for gående og syklende og passasje for barnevogn. Det er
ikke lov å parkere i eller ved snuhammere, slik at det hindres bruk av disse.
Er det ikke plass til flere biler på din egen eiendom skal parkeringslommene
langs veien brukes. Info om parkering vil også bli lagt inn på hjemmesiden og
på face book siden snart.

We are now at the start of
2017, the snow is absent and the temperature is variable. Most of us will have
felt the biting wind which we are accustomed to here at Jåsund. The Board has
entered an agreement with a local provider for snow ploughing, salting and
gritting of the parking areas and pavements the Velforening is responsible for.
Contact us if you see that extra ploughing/salting etc is required.
Now as we move into Spring
the Board will be working on preparations for this year’s Annual General
Meeting (AGM), which is planned for the end of April, more information to
follow. We remind all home owners that membership in the Residents Association
is compulsory and that your participation at the AGM is very important. It is
only with high participation and your engagement that we are able to address
the issues which affect you and not least to make decisions on those matters
raised. The AGM is your opportunity to participate and influence the
development of your neighbourhood. Contact us if you wish to join the Residents
Association Board or if you have good ideas to contribute to your
neighbourhood.
We are also planning a “dugnad” (voluntary event) at the beginning of May with possibly an opportunity to gather in the neighbourhood to barbecue, chat and get to know our neighbours.

As you may have noticed we
have not yet made much progress on the Jåsund Vel website, however we will be
working on this as we move forward and hope to have it operational soon. Please
contact us if you are able to offer any help in this area. We would
gratefully receive offers of assistance.
Jåsund Vel Membership Fee: The annual fee

The Board has used significant time and resources this year in gathering in the membership fees, and after several reminders there are still some fees outstanding. We attribute this to start up issues and misunderstandings and we hope that in the next round (June 2017) this process will be smoother. Your membership fees go towards the running and maintenance of the common areas we all benefit from, as well as future needs like replacing playground equipment etc. when required.

Rubbish & recycling points which
are scattered throughout the area are well used. Do you have any special waste
or large quantities of waste or building or other materials? Remember you
cannot leave waste like that at the common collection points but there is
useful information about special collections and other ways to dispose of such

Building plans : Do you have
any building, extension or garage plans for your property? Then we recommend
that you familiarise yourself with the regulations and “formingsveiledning”
document for Jåsund which Sola Kommune produced. You can contact Sola Kommune
for assistance in preparing the required neighbour warning forms.
The bus road is a
great initiative, but those of us who live along this route have seen some
problems with speeding, poor visibility and badly placed pedestrian crossings.
We have seen on Facebook and have heard directly from residents that this road
is of concern to many of you. We are working on this issue and we will continue
to work on it, contacting Sola Kommune and other relevant organisations to try
to influence a better solution for this transport route. More
information to follow.
Parking: Avoid
parking on the pavement or the path/cycle lane in any way which impedes free
movement. Remember that there should be safe and free passage for those on
foot and safe passage for cyclists, prams and buggies. It is forbidden to park
in or beside the turning areas in any way which hinders their use. Should there
not be sufficient space on your own property for more cars then use the parking
bays in the street or designated parking areas. Information on parking will be
